        1. Exactly!
i would have been done ten minutes earlier, but after bombing out with Bimbo i had to try all eight other possible words ending with O before settling on LIMBO as the only one that could work … i wanted AMBULATIO or BARBATIMAO but they don’t fit in the array.
          😎🐝🇺🇸

      1. That’s what I settled with 😂
*Bimbo – Outwardly. Took the easy win and called it a day.

I was stuck on Audibly, Doubly, Doubt, Tribal first.

        1. Alas, LB clutches its pearls in such matters. So OA Limbo Outwardly. Is there another way?
I note Imbo is also acceptable to LB, but not to me, efficiency be damned.

      1. OA, relatively quickly – Went from BOARD to OUTBOARD to OUTWARD to OUTWARDLY. LIMBO was just sitting there after that, though I do like the Bimbo variant.

    1. Got TRAMWAY in 2 seconds. Got BUILD in 30 seconds. Took me a half hour to expand BUILD to BUILDOUT but eventually got there.

  1. OUTLIMB°—BAWDRY 13/2

    BIMBO°—OUTWARDLY 💃
    LIMBO—OUTWARDLY 😈

    DRAWBOLT°—TUMIDLY

Thanks to those who found BUILDOUT!
I didn’t have that word in my system.

    1. Hey Mark!
      did you try anything with:
      OUTBOARD
      ADMIRALTY
      ADMIRABLY

they fit in the array but i couldn’t find a match for any of them.

      1. Good morning McBee!
Your three words remain unpaired, from my side anyway.

Interestingly, the largest word I could find was:
        BOTRYOIDAL
OED: botryoidal, adj. Resembling a bunch of grapes.
It was unknown to me until this morning. ☕

      1. I have found RADIOLARIAN a few times in the past the LB accepted, so I tried the IUM ending (which the OED definitely accepts) and LB was fine with it.

    1. Same here. Don’t know what an imbo is but it worked and it’s a 13/2

Not too confident of the source but here’s what I found
imbo: (regional, S. America) the name of a plant defined with Caryocar nuciferum in various botanical sources.

  2. LIMBO – OUTWARDLY.

Started with TOWARD (TOWARD – DUMBLY used everything but the I, frustratingly enough) then DAYWARD, before spotting OUT. BIMBO was my first solve too, but LIMBO popped shortly after.
