And here as well. Two new words for the LB vocab list. Was first surprised Superboy was accepted as I was sure that was probably just some marvel character, and then floored that by the acceptance of the plural. Shambly a surprise as well. Impressed by the plethora of unfamiliar words in others’ responses todays – huzzah!

Mohars (Nepalese coins) are allowed but not Sasquatch from a few days ago. Any ideas what dictionary is used?
Rumor has it the LB wordlist is based on the OED. You will see occasional references in these comments to a word being PSW (Playable Scrabble Word) but not LB-approved.
It’s not a rumor, Bernie – check out the article about Sam Ezersky in Airmail (April 1, 2023). He says “we’re powered by the OED.” It’s not quite that simple, though, because sometimes words deemed unacceptable by LB are listed in the OED online.
Sometimes I think they’re just messing with our heads, man.
