The answers are:
GLAZEEXECUTION
Official
…death by donut
Glaze – Execution
Final step in creating the perfect cinnamon roll.
Also official.
Pre-oiling the guillotine.
Nice alliteration.
Hehe! Same.
Official – in under 2 minutes – a rarity for me.
Also GLAZE-EXECUTION, one of the procedures I order my staff to do in our high-end patisserie of a morning.
Glaze Execution
Official.
Lightning quick
Yep, basically instantly for me 🙂
On a side not is executional not a word?
OXAZOLE – EXECUTING
Had to look up Oxazole (but TBH, I didn’t understand anything after “chemical compound”). It’s good to see there’s at least one alternative to the Official!
glaze – execution
Official
Perfecting a triple axel? Longer time coming up with ti that doesn’t include death or pastry.
EXCITON – NAZGUL 13/2 … except the puzzle did not accept NAZGUL, and, much to my shock and horror, neither does Scrabble. (I guess because it’s a proper noun; one hopes the fine people at Merriam-Webster are literate enough to include vocabulary from LOTR.) So just the official for me today.
Birds: EAGLE, TIT, TEAL, ANI, and, if double letters are allowed, GULL, LOON.
Like the heretofore mentioned SQUAB, I shall squawk once more for the baby birds: EAGLET! 🐣
I was also disappointed that NAZGUL was not accepted 🙁
More Birds: GUAN, OUZEL, and TUI.
I sure needed to trust my initial reaction to this one a bit more. While GLAZE (along with, maybe, TOXIC) was the very first one to bleep on my radar, I took a long, meandering route to eventually spot its obvious pairing. A disproportionately brief log of finds -given the time I had to invest: TAXING, LOGIC, -ATION, ULEXITE, AUXIN, LUXATE, EXOTOXIN, and ZEALOT.
LBF score: 5½ (7/12 letters correct). I’ll keep the same one going for tomorrow (unless I’m able to create any new ones as the day wears on):
NFH AOD GLI SPU.
(Reposting this report that was erroneously posted on yesterday’s page; apologies for that.)

New words: TAIGA
Official here, and not a bit surprised to find it was indeed Official. However, my thought was Pottery, not Pastry…
Yah, I’m pretty sure there’s a deleted scene from the movie Ghost, where they discussed the merits of dipping or brushing and then got the kiln really fired up.
Official
Missed EXECUTION; Excitational was not a word, so my best 3-word guess was GAUZE EXOTIC CLAN (15/3), got GLAZE, EXCITING, EXULTATION, EXCITATION, ZEALOT, NOUGAT, GOUGE, etc. (Log-Gauze-Exciting = 16/3) Glaze-Excitation-Nougat, Gouge-Exciting-Glaze or Glaze-Exciting-Gouge. Or 5 words: Axle Eclectic Clog Gonzo Out
Official
Glaze Execution in seconds
Official after getting off the word gauze
