The answers are:
BEFOGSSTRUCTURING
fester rebouncing
Same here
Yep got todays but still salty about yesterday..befogs?!? Countersign or encountering should have worked.
Coster – Refurbing
Same here, except SCOTER instead of COSTER. Equally obscure at both ends, but at 15/2 they’re the best so far. Anybody have a 14/2 or even 13/2?
FUNSTER – REBOUNCING
also got COSTER-REFURBING which is inelegant, but i don’t feel so bad when the official answer has BEFOGS
FRUCTOSE – EBING (just kidding). Settling for FRUCTOSE – ENGINES – SOB was not sweet.
I, too, got FESTER — REBOUNCING 16/2, but somehow that solution is unsatisfying; and yet trying to get closer to 13/2 feels like a game of Vocabulary Twister? Although, I do enjoy learning new words, even if from the Southern Pennines.
Me too. But then I opted for FUNSTER because I didn’t like FESTER. 🙂
Another COSTER – REFURBING. I did mess with “befogs”, but wasn’t seeing the rest. So today I discovered “refurb” is a verb.
Befogged brain for most of the day.
But finally found the official answer.
Learned a bunch of new words from all of you:
refurb, coster, funster
Excessive, but fun: FORGATHERING-GLOVE
Overleaf/frighten
Fanlight – Trove
I also wanted a long solution, and came up with:
Frightening Gigavolt
Gigavolt is not accepted, which is unacceptable to me. It’s in all the dictionaries.
gigavolt (plural gigavolts) One billion (109) volts. Symbol: GV.
