Thank the British for a SMITCH of salt. Who knew?
Pervious Smitch also works.
Excellent answer, DBB. Smitch is wonderfully Dickensian. I doubt anyone will match your 14/2. I found the official 16/2 answer, but was able to do a bit better via rando experimentation, leading to the 15/2 Chiti – Impervious. Chiti may mean knowledge or consciousness in Sanskrit.
I found chump/ pivoters for 13/2
Pervious Smitch also works.
PITCHI / IMPERVIOUS
Lots of odd words and combos today!!
I had CHUMP PIVOTERS for 13/2.
I also had chump – pivoters. Nicely rewarding to find one quickly for once!
I really wanted to work CRUMPETS in, but the remaining letters didn’t work for a two-word answer.
RECTUMS – SURVIVORSHIP, anyone?
13/2: Upvotes-smirch
I have no idea what “smirch” means… I’m assuming it’s related to “besmirch”, which is the word I was actually thinking of when I tried it.
Chimers
Spout
Tov
For those moderate level players interested in 15/3 or better
I ALSO GOT PERVIOUS SMITCH 14/2
Nice 13/2 efforts, all! Chump Pivoters, with its political overtones, is particularly tasty.
