I knew that was comin
I spent some time on the MOUNTAINTOP before I found
DIPLOMAT—TRUNK
OA pretty fast, also got MOUNTAINTOP at first. Found DIPLOMA, saw TRUNK, then realized DIPLOMAT TRUNK was staring me in the face!
Now I see 3w with Mountaintop + PARKA ADULT.
Same here. Spent way to much time on the MOUNTAINTOP without a clear view of the horizon.
Same here, but ultimately struck on the OA Diplomat Trunk. Takin’ the show on the road. Perhaps a singular answer?
OA
KIDULT-TRAMPOLIN
There’s a visual, but, as you found, it didn’t take TRAMPOLIN.
OA.
OA, really quick.
DIPLOMAT – TRUNK
Attaché case.
Beautiful TI. A more cynical alternative: Where many career foreign service officers are likely to find themselves under new management.
Excellent.
Spent a long time with
Automation!!
DIPLOMAT — TRUNK
Found DIPLOMA, then DIPLOMAT and TRUNK was right there. Several times over the past week, the connecting word seems to be lined up for an easy solve.
I also found TRADITION, PARTITION, and TRIPARTITION, but the all left letters that couldn’t connect (especially the K).
Diplomat Trunk. Fastest solve yet!
Another OA day…zzzzzzzzzz
GOT OA QUICKLY!
Got stuck on AUTOPARK which didn’t work. Didn’t think of the obvious DIPLOMAT.
UNKNIT TRIPLOID DAM
I know. Me too. I got stuck on a lot of finds. I spent FOREVER on today’s working through MOUNTAINTOP, PARLOURMAID, prefixes like ULTRA, OMNI, MONO, INTRA, AUTO, KILO, TRI, DI, AUDIO, UN…
Like you, I also found AUTOPARK. I really felt like that should’ve been in there since that’s been a feature on cars for a while now. Alas.
Kudos on Parlourmaid!
Found PARLOURMAID, but no word with KNT to match it, though I did try… A LOT!
I always start by trying to find words with the “weird/difficult” letters first, in this case the K, so I saw TRUNK immediately. Then DIPLOMAT followed easily. Super fast solve today. Less than a minute.
Annoying failure after being stuck on mountaintop, paramount, paramour, parkour and markup.
diplomat – trunk
Bah, struck out. Stuck on MOUNTAINTOP and PARAMOUNT forever, along with POLKA and KAPUT for using the K, and a ton of ~TION words. Did play around with TRUNK for awhile, but didn’t see DIPLOMAT. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
