  1. I found this nice long pair immediately.
    ANTIMALARIALS – SUDOKU
Hopefully a lot of fun answers today–
the official offering smells of redundancy.

    1. Lovely stuff, Jill! Wish I’d spotted Sudoku!

I’m afraid I had to settle for the deeply unpleasant 3-word offering below:

      MALODOROUS-SKANK-KIT

Something to do with a handbag full of wet wipes and a roll-on deodorant perhaps?

      I can only apologise 🙂

      1. I had hoped Malkins Stroud (which must be an actual location somewhere in the British countryside) would be unique to me. Should have known better with this crowd… My initial answer was Doldrums Stinkard, which has the satisfying quality of reciprocity but little else to recommend it. (Two good words, though.)
So, Mark, which paleo megafauna outranks the Smilodon in your pantheon? Funny, I just saw a story about sabertooths (saberteeth?) the other day. It’s in the air.

        1. Hi Bernie, I too like the occasional reciprocity that occurs. Perhaps Megalodon outranks Smilodon in the dentition department. ☺ I was also pleased that ‘Industrials skimo’ was accepted, as all forms of skiing are popular here in Denver.

          1. Strangely, Megalodon was also in the news a few days ago! Extinct toothiness is all the rage in the fashionable pages, apparently.

  2. OUTDRINKS – SLAM was the shortest I found, but I was pleased to learn a new word when MOKI – INDUSTRIAL worked. (It’s also fun to transition on the letter “I.”)
