    1. SPHERIC-CAJOLERY here as well. Covid brain be damned! Was a bit miffed at CAJOLER not being accepted – if you have CAJOLERY happening, who’s doing it?

  1. JOEYS – SPHERICAL 14/2. Having spotted SPHERICAL, and being desperate to marry it up with something, I just gave JOEYS a try & -voilà!- the answer came from Down Under… On balance, however, the amount & -with all due respect to our pals in Australia in this instance- the quality of words that are unexpectedly accepted, still barely make up for (the amount & quality of) those that are mysteriously rejected.

  2. I jumped in with Spheric Cajolery, but I think the official answer is better thematically, unless we’re talking Magic Eightball, and they’re more enigmatic than persuasive. Unproductive sidetracks included Jalopy and Calypso(s). Hated to give those up…
Joeys Spherical is excellent, good on everyone who found it!

  3. Official, though I think the shorter CAJOLER should have been allowed. I really wanted to do something with APOCRYPHAL, but no…

  4. I also jumped on SPHERIC-CAJOLERY 🎱🙏🏻 without seeing the official. My PSYCHIC abilities could use some CAJOLERY today 🔮🤷🏼‍♀️

  5. PYRO—OCH—HAJI—ISLE
    LOP—PSYCH—HAJI—IRE
    LOCH—HAJI—IRE—ESPY
    JAI—IRE—EPOCHS—SLY

My quiet quad quest quandary continues. It’s challenging when adhering to a 15/4 limit. I’ve learned some small fundamental words, some in other languages, but it’s a time consuming exercise. I may have to set a time restriction, but not this week. 🙂

  6. POLYCHROIC – CAJOLES for me.
(Pleeeease may I have more colors!?)

Like DW I struggled with APOCRYPHAL, for way to long.
And missed ‘JOEY’, despite my pending trip to Australia.
