I used to be SC until another SC showed up, so I changed to SLC. Today, I only got 3-word answers, some very close to other ones here… missed Devours to precede Shirtwaist, tried Devouts but it wasn’t allowed. I too am mystified by some of the word list selections, what is and is not okayed. A “devout” (a religious person?) isn’t a noun yet, I guess.
DEVOUT is accepted &, paired with TRISHAW, offers a 13/2 (solving apps say so, not me). Bizarrely INDEVOUT isn’t.

I got what I knew was the official solution, playing with house money (having already found WHATSOEVER – RIDEOUT). Hard to stick to the strategy of settling for the first answer found, but it paid off -ever so slightly- this time around.
WHATEVER – RIDEOUTS came quickly, but I then discovered that RIDEOUTS is not playable in Scrabble. This word list mystifies me.
The game is, in fact, fine with RIDEOUTS, so this is a valid solution there, DW.

Lots of awesome answers today! I got Whatever Radious – a take on the official answer that I think is unique so far – and also the widely-reported Wideouts Shaver and Southwards Sieve.
I particularly like Devoured Dishwater and Devours Shirtwaist. Judy’s suggestion of a Dishwater chaser for the latter is delicious!
