  1. CATBIRD – DOWNLOWS 15/2
Not very happy with this, but I was impatient to post so that I can see what everyone else finds.

    1. You took the words, and the answer, right out of my mouth, Jill.
I didn’t think it was much of an answer I saw the official one. And on reflection, Catbird Downlows does have a its thematic charms. They are described as “secretive” on Cornell’s All About Birds site, and hide a rufous patch beneath their tails. So there’s at least two Downlows right there!

      1. Wow nice worked a lot with snow cat snow bird …..lolcat wow. Embarrassed to say ended up with LIBTARDS-SNOWCAT. Have no idea how this makes it on the word list and non offensive list

  2. I was surprised that SNOWBLIND wasn’t accepted (but then the Spelling Bee puzzle didn’t accept CROFT this morning, so who knows how they decide what’s allowed). After that, I couldn’t find a two word answer, so settled for BLIND – DISTRACT – TOW

    1. Croft was a bummer as I spent a lot of time on the last ten points or so. And Lache not accepted yesterday although I can see that being a more obscure parkour word

  3. CLINTS – SNOWBOARD here as well. I am ashamed of myself for missing CATBIRD because, yes, I am one of *those* people.

I didn’t play Spelling Bee today because the maximum score was more than two digits (I don’t have that much time in the morning), but CROFT wasn’t accepted???
