The answers are:
METALWORKKINKY
Terminal – Lowkey
Same here. I ran out of patience looking for a 13/2 answer, but I am pleased to see several here already, however obscure.
METALWORK – KILYN 14/2: Slight diversion from the official answer but it came like a flash and I wouldn’t bother looking beyond that. At any rate, the more mundane the letters (as opposed to your exotic J’s, Q’s, X’s, Z’s), the broader the canvas you have there, which is a challenge of a different sort.
*KYLIN
Nice!
Also TEAMWORK—KYLIN 13/2
I had WARLIKE ETYMON, but I think that this solution is a good one. It must take some teamwork to come up with a chimera.
Official answer today
wormlike eternality
WARLIKE—ETYMON 13/2
I learned “etymon” today. ☺
Weii played, Mark (with both 13/2s), I should have considered ETYMON given my Greek descent!
I’ll add my appreciation Mark for both 13/2s and for helping me learn two new words. I was happy to settle for the official answer especially since it came so quickly.
Official but I think timeworker-rankly and nonmarket-twirly should have also worked.
Reknown – normality
Two of my favorite accepted words:
KRATOM
OMERTA
TERMINAL LOWKEY for me. Lots and lots of words available to play with and get lost on.
METALWORK – KYLIN, but I have to admit I wasn’t expecting KYLIN to be a word, I was just typing in letters and hoping.
I was surprised they didn’t recognize Romani/Romany (either spelling) considering what I’ve seen accepted.
Reknown-normality
TEAMWORK – KINKILY (rough, but it works)
TEAMWORK – KINKILY
I got WAYMAKER-RETINOL
Terminal – Lowkey
and
Winterly – Yokemate
Curiously, ‘wanker’ wasn’t recognized as a viable word.
