Monoculars – Swampy
Me, too.
COLONY
YAWS
SLURP
PROM
I tried to do something with MARS COLONY but I got stUck in a SWAMP.
Same here. Had that feeling that it wasn’t the official answer, though.
Proconsuls – Swampy
You beat me to it and I wasted time on yowl, yawn, laywoman and anonymously. Oh well tomorrow will be better.
Not a waste! You should be proud of Anonymously and Laywoman too!
All I found was the official not-very-exciting answer. I will admit it has that much-sought thematic integrity. Who among us is not compelled to yawn by the mere sight of someone – not necessarily a human somebody, even! – yawning? Indeed, for a substantial proportion of us, just hearing or seeing the word Yawn is all it takes…
… or when you need to make your boredom absolutely manifest!
wasted time on ‘pulmonary’
It took quite a while to eventually come across the official answer!
ACRONYMOUS—SPRAWL 16/2
ACRONYMOUS—SNOWPLOW 18/2
UNCLAMOUROUS – SWAMPY
Though it feels like ‘unclamorous’ shouldn’t be a proper word…
Proconsul-laywoman …
An oxymoron I guess
I had that one too!
consular / rampway. How is rampway even a word?!
I had the same solution, not expecting RAMPWAY to be accepted 🙂
crawls-supranormal
MYOCLONUS – SPRAWL 15 / 2
