I’m still wondering how this puzzle is generated—by a random set of letters that happen to generate at least one two word solution? Or from the input of two words that happen to also , at times , allow for other two word solutions. I would love to know your thoughts or if anyone knows the answer….

I’m just guessing but I doubt it starts from a random set of letters as the number of permutations would become intractable. It seems more reasonable to me that they start with two known words of total length 13 or more, with the added constraint of the “connecting” letter.
