FLABBREAKTHROUGH
BLEAKER REFOUGHT
Same as Bobby
I had that solution too, BALKER REFOUGHT was not accepted with one fewer.
BREAKOUT THOUGHTFUL
nice one
I went with some 14/3s, including BROUGHT – TALK – KEF (vottever dot is) and FOUGHT – TALK – KERB (ditto). The eternal debate, is 14/3 better than 16/2? If not, what about 17/2? 18/2? Surely at some point the 14/3 answer is better than the longer two-word answer?
Call me crazy but I prefer the longest possible 2 word answer. Anyway, BREAKOUT/THOUGHTFUL for me today.
Bleaker – Refought
FLAKER REBOUGHT is another possible 14/2 that is not accepted.
Got the official solution
Breakout thoughtful
Bought talker ref
I also tried Balker and Flaker with no success. And Bernie I feel like maybe the sum of the two numbers could be used for comparison or perhaps the sum of the numbers + a 1 point penalty for Exceeding two words. So 14/3 would either be the equivalent of 15/2 or 16/2. 16/2 feels about right to me.
Got the official answer!
My Smart baby
Forethought – Takable
I had PONG GRIEF FATHOM — a 15/3. Didn’t want to spend more time on it for a two word solution. It already consumes too much of my time.
