I do like Headstrong, but there’s no need for Couth (I only mean, in the context of the puzzle — there is always a general need for more Couth!)

At which point I gave up. Letterbox accepted these but would not tell me I had solved. I had to exit and start over, this time starting with douches-strange (14-2), and immediately receiving my congratulations.
