Got the OA in a couple of minutes.
Letterboxed time is my favorite time of the day. It refreshes every 4 PM Philippine time.
OA for me. Just took me 6 minutes.
17/20.
46/51.
Current streak: 10.
OA too, but it was not fast by any means for me. Took me almost an hour to find a solution. I thought BLACKJACKS might work, since it buried both the J and K effectively. Then I realised I needed to focus on burying the B more than the K.
Found UNLOCKS, CARJACKS, SUNBACK, UNMORAL, UNBLOCKS. Like Mark, I also thought the OA would be a singular solution. I was afraid of losing my streak today!
18/20, 45/51
Current streak: 10
OA for me too, took me about 5 minutes. Given the cold snap my family suffered in the States, SUBNORMAL was on the brain first, and had it been possible, JOCKS-SUBNORMAL would have been it, but with NO on the same line, it wasn’t. Hence, MAJORS-SUNBLOCK it is.
Well done, Kanishk, RF, and Samuel!
Same OA…
Two different reasons to salute.
Frank Burns… Not!!
Or, that black stuff big-leaguers smear under their eyes.
Majors – Sunblock(s)
Also…
Marjorams* – Sunblock(s)
*OED, plural of Marjoram
MAJORS—SUNBLOCK
JAMJARS—SUNBLOCK
At first I thought it was going to be a singular solution. “Jam Jar” is two words in OED, it’s not in MW, but it’s surprisingly accepted in LB. That usually doesn’t happen. ☕
It wouldn’t take my one-worder! MARKUNLOCKSMAJORLBJUNK.
Oa, quickly
JUMARS-SUNBLOCK
*BUNJARA-ARMLOCKS
*BUNJARA good in OED
