I couldn’t access today’s puzzle on any of the usual sites – they were all still stuck on yesterday’s date. Did anyone else have this issue, or is it just me?
I tried working on today’s puzzle on pen and paper (turns out it’s way harder that way!), but I wasn’t able to find any valid solutions. The closest I got was KNOWFUL – LAMBLIKE, and I’m not even sure those count as real words.
KNOWFUL was accepted, but lamb-like (hyphenated in OED) would be a no-go with the B and L on the same side. The site was acting up for me yesterday but today I was ok.

Had LAMBKIN, somehow missed WOEFUL. Also got sidetracked on WOMANLIKE, LAWMAN, BIOFUEL, etc. Also tried BEFOUL LINKWOMAN… Seems LINKMAN is a word, but not LINKWOMAN, but I found it defined a few places online, so I’ll take it.
