    1. Same. Started with JACKING which left me with GLOWY with a stray S. Figuring out where the S would fit came to me instantly.

      1. OA here as well. Was surprised Jackings wasn’t accepted. Took me quite awhile to finally stick SKY onto JACKING and then the finish came right away.

      1. Many here list solutions LB doesn’t accept, but are accepted in other Dictionaries. Lockjaws was accepted in OED
(Oxford English Dictionary). There are several other Dictionary sources too. Often a symbol next to the solution word indicates, or a reference is directly made, as to the source

        1. I use this notation for my contributions:
          ° OED, ^ MW, *PSW, ʷ Wiktionary,
          ⁿ proper name, ⁻ hyphenated,
          † other 🙂

          1. Which of those is Scrabble, if any? I use Scrabble and also Dictionary.com. Occasionally looked at the Urban Dictionary too.

          2. @Bruce, * was the traditional symbol for a Playable Scrabble Word (PSW). Others now use * for general exceptional cases.

I should check out Dictionary.com and Urban Dictionary. Thanks.

        2. Scrabble has two word authorities for tournament play. One is Scrabble US (TWL) for tournament play in the US, Canada, and Thailand. The other is Scrabble UK (SOWPODS) for the rest of the world. The latter has been officially changed to CSW (Collins Scrabble Words), but everyone still calls it SOWPODS.

      2. I was more than a little irritated that LB didn’t accept SKYJACKINGS, but I have to admit, when I backed off the S, GLOW was right there. This isn’t the first time that backing off a plural has yielded a solve, so maybe LB was doing me a favor? 🙂

    1. I started with Cajoling and found other words that didn’t connect. Then I tried Cowlings which immediately led to Skyjack for a win. It was only then that I realized Skyjacking and Glow was probably the OA. Good weekend to all!

          1. *LOCKJAWS-SOAKINGLY*
*LOCKJAWS good in OED, Wiktionary, Scrabble US (TWL)
*SOAKINGLY good in OED, Merriam-Webster, Collins, Wiktionary

  1. Hey y’all, for fun, solve this one-HMO NIA TSR ZCE. No programs please. Just post “I got it” when you solve and enjoy.

  2. OA fairly quickly, nice change after yesterday’s all day wipeout, ha!
Two 2w’s today SKYJACKING GLOW or LOWS SKYJACKING.

  3. LOWS SKYJACKING
    and
    JOCKS SKYWALK KING

(Skywalking is in the Urban Dictionary but not any others I could find, but it’s the title of a book about George Lucas.)

    1. Me too on jocks sky walking Simon. Describes David Thompson,Tom Chambers, Julius Erving, and todays Mac McClung
