    1. Same here…
      Nonbeliever – Replacing

      Also found… Overlining, Replacing, Revoicing

Overplacing left only the B, but is a compound word

        1. This was mine, too. Along with: OVERCLEANING*–GEOPROBE* (pretty sure it’s my first solution where both words aren’t recognized by LB)

        1. A play on words that’s not contrived to the point of being groan-inducing! Mine was going to be something about paying too much for Johnny Winter tickets. (Same answer, by the way.)

    1. Nice! I struggled with OVERPRICING for a long time and couldn’t find the word that ended with an β€œO”.

        1. This was my solve today also ROBOCOP – PREVAILING

Few people know Omni Consumer Products sold out to Cyberdyne Systems which developed Skynet and we all know what happened next…

  1. 2nd time getting a two word solve- after plenty of decent words (esp. prevailing) I ended up with
    Cavalier – reprobing

  2. I’m alarmed. I’ve never considered Letter Boxed to be a snap. I have my share of struggles and many’s the time I’ve given up on a two-word solution and settled for a three. But today’s OA I got in maybe 1 minute β€” no joke. EVANGELICAL was my first try and PROBE the obvious predecessor. God knows I don’t want Letter Boxed to start becoming obscurant. (I still feel a certain incredulity at its willingness a few years ago to use the nonword RAGEQUIT.) But there’s got to be a happy (or unhappy) medium.

I’m sure I’ll pay for this complaint shortly.

  3. Another Nonbeliever here. πŸ™‚

    And slangy BOPO* OVERCLEANING*
    UK Collins/MW

Tried to work with BIOINORGANIC and CORPOREAL. No V.

  4. I struggled with PREVAILING but couldn’t get anything to go with it. Never would have considered ROBOCOP dang it.
