The answers are:
EQUILIBRIUMMAJORLY
OA
Likewise.
OA on the first try.
Also the OA after toiling with… Quorum, Airmobile, Jumble first
Me too… second try. Makes my day when I figure out the “pink box”.
Right?! OA pretty quickly after trying with JUMBLE and EQUI…
OA, but had to flinch at the second word.
Agreed. Was not sure of that at all but it worked.
Yes. So which is more cringeworthy: MAJORLY or REWATCH from a few days ago? (Are they real words? Sure. But as I recall Strunk & White had a section devoted to “unusable” words — I think two they cited were BEAUTEOUS and DISCOMBOBULATE. Shouldn’t the editor of Letter Boxed take a page from Strunk & White?)
EQUILIBRIUM—MAJORLY
JARMO†—OBLIQUELY
OA
Oa

what I payed the spa for 🧘🏻♀️
OA, like everyone else
Ditto
EQUILIBRIUM — MAJORLY
I rarely get the OA unless it’s an SSS. I couldn’t think of any words with JQU (the hard letters) so I looked for JMY (the other hard letters) and got MAJORLY. Worked backwards for words ending in M, and EQUILIBRIUM was very apparent.
SSS? Single Solution ???
Same. Must be single
Yes, Mark coined “Suspected Singular Solution” and it looks like he found another one (LB rejected but in OED).
OA quite handily, so I figured it was official.
OA q days always pretty quick it seems
It’s when two of the highest point value tiles in Scrabble (J, Q, X & Z) are used in one puzzle that there is the greatest chance of a SSS. By using only one of the four big tiles per puzzle there would be a lot less likelihood of a SSS and more possibilities for multiple solutions.
OA
OA. My quickest solution ever.
