        1. MVUA that would be a great connection if the word was “vampire”. But a vamp is someone with the prowess of seduction and charm. The absolute opposite of nole! Lol 😆

    1. I’m surprised the OA was the less efficient revamp instead of vamp. I also got VAMP – PERSONIFY and was sure it would be the OA!

TI: the embodiment of seduction 💋

    1. Omigosh, Saponified! Never thought I’d see the word in the wild, as it were. I thought it was invented by the admen behind Fitch’s Coconut Oil Shampoo, sponsor of Phil Harris and Alice Faye! (I listen to a lot of old-time radio, and that’s one of the only two so-called comedies I can truly recommend from the so-called Golden Age thereof, the other being The Jack Benny Show, which spun it off. Nothing new under the sun, including product placement!)

  1. OMNIVORES — SAPONIFY (Sounds like a lab job I had during college).

Also found IMPROPER, PYROMANIA, FOREVER, FOREVERMORE, FRYPANS, and EVERYMAN*

  2. Another VAMP PERSONIFY quickly here, was sure it’d be the OA. Got IMPROVES “SANIFY” which was a made-up 2w, but led me to seek other -ify words, so right away tried Personify which left Vamp (V A M the remaining letters) the obvious solution… hooray!

    1. Rejected on grounds of hyphenation, I suppose. But in a world where Informavore gets a pass, why ride the old hyphen hobbyhorse?

  3. The superior VAMP – PERSONIFY, after trying to find a match for SAVORY (PENIFORM was accepted, but not PENIFORMS 🫤).
