    1. JUICE EXOSKELETON as well. Saw EXO early but didn’t want to try SKELETON in case it didn’t work out.

After messing about with various useless J words I had to give it a go…

    2. OA. I figured out CK words weren’t working so had to look for a word with XK or XC. Then found EXOSKELETON JUICE was then a no brainer.

  1. Tried working with skeleton initially thinking there would be some Halloween theme. Eventually saw exoskeleton and the OA. Disappointed nothing thematic though unless I’m missing something

    1. I did find EXCITONS and while JUTE — EXITONS links,

JUTELIKE* — EXCITONS (LB tends to frown on -LIKE words 🙁 )

      1. Hey Bill, yes, I also saw excitons in EXCITONS—SELJUK°, but Seljuk is a proper name in OED. And, of course, it frowns on SEXLIKE. 🙂

  2. I got several 3-word solutions yesterday but I never saw kingmaker so the day ended in failure.

    Today I got
    JUICE EXOSKELETON(S)
    in just a few minutes.

    Happy Halloween everybody!

  3. Also 3-word solution, CONJUNCT – TEXTILES – SILK after struggling with JOUNCES; EXTINCT; JUICE(S) (did not see EXO/SKELETON!)…also missing the theme today 😉

    1. Similar to Nicole, I had CONJUNCT TEXTILES SKI, also got EXTINCT and JUICE/S but not EXO/SKELETON. My other 3w’s: INJECT TUXES SKOL, and what I finally went with: JUKES SELECT TOXIN

  4. Oh thats annoying — was on the right track using a homonym of the OA — but ended with this 3 solve using 1 less letter:

    JUS-SLICKS-SEXTON (15/3)

  5. A mildly Halloween themed OA. Definitely took a little time to see Exoskeleton. Doubt there is an alternative solution. Happy Halloween everybody!

  6. OA.
If you’ve ever dissected a crayfish 🦞 the TI is apparent here! 😂

This was quick work. I suspect there’s only one 2word answer
