Kicked the week off with a nice little OA. Took a minute, but not too bad.

Missed it, saw Light and other -igh/t words, never saw Sun nor Jersey/s, JESTER and UNSIGHTLY used all the letters but couldn’t connect. JESTERS SIN NIGHTLY had nice TI but lacked the U. Only got 4w until tried JEU, two 3w’s – JEU UNSIGHTLIER RELY, then JEU UNSIGHTLY YER (to my surprise Yer is ok, and is in one dictionary)
Yep, JESTER UNSIGHTLY had me thinking, surely, there must be similar words that do connect, but frustratingly, no.
That ugly Jester wasn’t helpng me out one little bit either…

Also, i tried a reversal with:

but LB said no to Jerseylights.
And JERSEYLIGHTNING dies at the last letter (can’t do N to G).
Incidentally JERSEY LIGHTNING (two words) shows up in Websters, OED and other dictionaries, defined as Applejack …
And on that note, here in hillbilly land we have a few folks who think you can get it all 14/1 with JERSEYLIGHTNUN … but any good hillbilly knows the true spelling is JERSEYLIGHTNIN …
