    1. I got WRINKLER-RECAPTURE too. The TI for the OA is very obvious. But trying to get back that old magic after something jumps the shark is a good TI for our solution (and has an extra layer of meaning 😉)

I’m not sure why I didn’t find the OA: I found PERIWINKLE easily but somehow I didn’t put TEACUP with it! 😀

      1. Went back to check, and it’s actually six days in a row for the OA, but BREAKUP—PSYCHO did me in.

    TWINKLER – RECAPTURE.

I’m back with a solution after two days in a row without one. I will surely lose confidence if today is another failure.

        1. Twinkle Earcup here too, but I didn’t think earcup was a word. Went for Caput Twinkler instead, which is not accepted

Had Periwinkle but not Teacup. Arrgh!

        Hey, Sir ROGRRR,

        Hey, Sir Bill Duffin,

        YES! Absolutely!
        HAZARD – DEVASTATION, indeed! 🤓🤗

    1. Periwinkles – Recapture here!
I was close with these before finding recapture …
      Periwinkler – Recruit (no A)
      Periwinkler – Recart (no U)

        1. Good ones, Bruce.

I was investigating RECAPTURER just to see where it exists. It’s not in LB. It’s not in MW. It is a PSW, and it is in OED.

I was reading up on some Merriam-Webster vs Oxford perspectives. Interesting. It seems generally accepted that MW leans American and OED leans British. Also some contrasts between modern vs obsolete words have been put forth.

          1. You’re on your own special LB level Mark 😂
Maybe you need more of a challenge.

What if the game was a 5 sided polygon with 2 sides having (3) letters and 3 sides having (2) letters. Still 12 total. Would that be harder🤔
            Letter Poly’d 😂

Looks like we have a group here that could set that up and see.

  3. My first solution, still dreaming about honey:
    PANCAKE ERUPT TWIRL

    My first 2-word solution:
    CAPUT** TWINKLIER
    LB didn’t like Caput!

    Next :
    TWINKLIER RECAPTURE
Twinklier is not as efficient as Twinkler, but it is shinier, I guess!

  4. Gave up on this one. Glad people found alternate solutions that didn’t require PERIWINKLE. Went through TWERK and TWEAKER combos, but never found TWINKLE. 🤦‍♂️

  5. Here is the full list including Scrabble words:
