    NUTMEG – GAZPACHO.

I didn’t give up on GAZPACHO. I was putting all my money on it because it took care all of the problematic letters. But all I see of the leftovers was UNMET which can’t be linked to it. So I leave and come back to it until finally I saw the elusive NUTMEG. This is a luxuriously difficult solve.

    I’m very happy! 🤓🤗

    1. Similar here. Found GAZPACHO early on and then tried to find words that start with OUT*** and ONE*** before shifting to considering words that end in G. Finally considered ***MEG as an ending, and hit upon NUTMEG.

But I was unsuccessful finding a gazpacho recipe that includes nutmeg.

      1. Agree! Got it pretty quickly when I came back to it, but I spent too much time on PANACHE and PENUCHE earlier.

      2. Like others I found GAZPACHO fairly soon but could not pair it. I briefly thought about trying a word ending in -UNG but didn’t think of anything else ending with G, so spent all my time on words starting with O, especially OUT-, to no avail.

        Hey, Mr.MARKIESCE,

My linking letter is S. Plural form. Crime related. An expert of the job. 🤗

    1. I know it is not the answer but had fun with SPITED DRACULAS. Not a bad way to describe our financial institutions

        Hey, OSCAROO,

SPITED – DRACULAS is missing an F.
Your SPECTACULARS – SIFTED works though.

Congrats on finding a unique solution.

  2. Not 2-word outcome today! Not sure why ZAMPONA is not accepted (it’s a panflute/wind instrument), really hung up on MEGAPHONE but no good words with C U T & Z!

  3. Couldn’t find a 2 today but, through randomly guessing words, I found some new words: ZAMPONE, MATZO/MATZOH (I’d heard of MATZAH, but not these words) and GAZUMP.

My 3 word solution: GAZUMP PHONEME ETCH.

      1. Two day solve… Finally got the OA. Was a long road from finding Gazpacho to seeing nutmeg, with a very disappointing detour at outmanage. They obviously don’t watch many Yankee games, because if they did they’d routinely see Aaron Boone get outmanaged.

  4. OA

Found NUTMEG early, but couldn’t do much with it. I then went down a rabbit hole with METAZOAN, but nada as well. After finally seeing GAZPACHO i recalled NUTMEG and it all worked (after way too long of course).

  5. Not even close to coming up with GAZPACHO, so my “win” today was knowing to give up before getting too frustrated. 😒

    1. I thought for sure there would be a Yiddish word with the Z in there. Seems S-C-H- combo and Z usually require a Yiddish word.

      1. Bernie Horowitz

Why I was convinced at first that Matzoh would be part of the solution… but no. Then the OA appeared. Worst Gazpacho evah.

    1. I was worse – only a 4-word (which comes at the start of a book but I won’t make this that long).

      METAZOAN NACHO OUGH HOP

TI might be what happens when a dinosaur steps into a very hot Mexican dish.
