The answers are:
OVERBITEECHINODERM
RHOMBI-INVECTED.
ALIOW. Phew.
RHOMBI—INVECTED
I had to look up “invected” to be sure, but then was pleased that it too has a geometric meaning.

Failed but came up with VERMIN-NOTCHED-DEB
The mice chewed on my sister-in-law!
Took the entirety of a long flight, but finaly got Rhombi-Invected. Had Overbite, but Echinoderm did not appear for me.
Thanks God! I surrendered! 😉
Amen!

Stephie, you’re CORRECT! 😉
BRILLIANT!
INHIBITIVE – ECTODERM. A fancy way of saying “thick skin.”
ECTODERM was the word i was looking for! Thick words today

RHOMBI-INVECTED
Gave up. Given the solution, I’m glad!
we got the OA, thanks to a combo of minds put together to create something masterful, something beautiful. Everyday we play letterboxed only to create some feeling of self worth. We give the credit to mom and everyone who got us here.
Gave up after too many tries
INHIBITIVE ECTODERM
nobody got the OA yet
I got the OA, but had to wait until I was home from work to give it another go. Really surprised to see that it’s the OA, and figured I was missing something less obscure.
Tried working with the INTER- prefix for a while. Got nowhere.
Tough nut to crack.
I got the OA. But after all day! I definitely didn’t think that was it! I kept trying various forms of INHIBIT (-tion, -tive, -tor) but couldn’t find anything. I thought this was a wild shot. Who knew it was the OA?
Gave up. Whew!
Me too. I once had an overnite bit never an echinoderm.
Rhombic chi inverted was the best I had because I couldn’t connect the words.
…had an overbite but…
I felt bad about Rhombi Invected until I got a look at the OA. I mean, Overbite is nice, but Echinoderm? C’mon!
I had OVERBITE and DERM but did not know that OA word. Submitted in desperation: HERBIVORE ECTODERM MINT
gave up; went with VERMIN-NOTCHED-DEB
I took comparative invertebrate anatomy and still didn’t come up with echinoderm or much of anything else, unlike those who solved in two.
Glad I didn’t spend more time, gave up with 3w HOMBRE EVICTION NOD. Wouldn’t have ever found that OA, never heard of the 2nd word and didn’t see Bite (did wonder about Over- or __-over)
Since nobody could guess echinoderm…
Here is the full list including Scrabble words:
** Don’t look at the list if you haven’t finished solving the puzzle **
(The first number is a count and the second number is the number of letters used)
1 – 20 inhibitive / echinoderm
2 – 18 inhibitive / ectoderm
3 – 18 overbite / echinoderm
4 – 14 rhombi / invected
5 – 17 brevete* / echinoderm
6 – 15 chevrotin* / nimbed
7 – 20 inhibitive / ectodermic*
I’m so annoyed. I had found rhomb and rhombic along with invected and 20 other good words. I had no idea “rhombi” was a word. I was positive the answer connected with rhombic 😩😵
No match for Homoerotic which I thought was a great find, so giving up.
Yes, I thought I was onto something with that one, too.
Got OVERBITE but couldn’t bring it home. Looking at the OA, I see why.
Herbivore ectoderm mon… after way too much time spent on this one today
Delighted to find “vermin”
Disturbed to learn “revomited”
Surprised it took “biotechnic”
Gave up.
OVERBITE was as far as I got today, and after seeing the OA, I’m REALLY getting tired of Ezersky’s antics. I don’t know which days to spend an hour-plus looking for a reasonable solution, and which days to give up because he decided it would be fun to make a nigh-impossible puzzle. 🙄
a day late, but I got to finish 2/22/24 before moving to today’s
rhombi-invected
MUNCHKIN / NOT / TRAIL
COCKTAIL / LUNCH / HARM
