I gave myself the gift of an OA today:
GECKO OVERZEALOUS
LB accepts Overglaze but not the plural, which is a PSW. Since it’s Christmas (and I didn’t find the OA), I’m allowing myself that S for OVERGLAZES-SUCK.
I thought I had it with OVERGLAZES SUCK until the plural wasn’t accepted. I gave up on getting a 2 and went with OVERZEALOUS SKAG GECKO. Can’t believe two of those words actually make a valid 2 word solution! Painful!
I had the same problem! I think OVERGLAZES – SUCK is a fine solution. There’s no reason it shouldn’t be. Nevertheless, I didn’t abandon it today. I eventually found the OA. But I absolutely believe your solution is legit! Merry Christmas!
Same. I was sure that I had to have been mistyping because overglazes HAS to be a word. “He is a good potter, except when he overglazes his pieces.” Eventually I abandoned that tack and found the OA.

Since OVERGLAZES, SLACKAGE, SUCKAGE, and SACKAGE aren’t accepted by LB, I believe the OA is the only 2-word solution for today’s puzzle
Funny. I tried every one of those options before finding the OA.
OA here after spending an inordinate amount of time trying to pair OVERGLAZE. I challenge Mr. Ezersky to come up with solutions with TI especially on noteworthy days… Since I’m sure he uses AI to come up with these things I bet he could rise to the occasion 🙂
OA really quickly, nice on the holiday. OVERZEALOUS was my first word I tried & got. Almost settled for 3w (no such word as SACKAGE, ha) but right after saw GECKO.
