  1. From yesterday’s words, for today’s equinox.

    DOVEKIE, ENLIGHTENED

    To tiny auks, of Maritimes
    And further north’s more frigid climes,
    As equinox unveils the sun,
    That overgilds each shadow’s run:

    Your raucous loud and chattering trill
    Let’s know you are prolific still,
    Enlightened on a glacial ledge
    That flowed with Arctic’s summer edge.

    Revoke our deviled drilling life,
    Revile our villain-induced strife.
    Diligent, doglike, without sin
    Devoted to your dovekie kin;

    Silent at sea, though deign to sing,
    Inveigh us with your whirring wing.
    Though kilo-shy, demand your range;
    Deliver parables of change.

    Enlighten us, ignite your sense
    As loved, unwary innocents.

    1. So many ‘aukward’ words in there, but you really made them flow wonderfully! Your use of overgild could inspire a poem on its own. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your talents with us!

        1. Thanks!– it was fun to do a bit of research,
          and discover that dovekies are also known as ‘alle alle’ (Sami)
          and many variations of ‘rotch’ and ‘rotchie’ (archaic).

  2. MULTICAST – TREYF. I’d never heard of treyf, but it’s amazing what you can find when you just type in the remaining letters.

      1. Ooh, excellent, Treacle Emulsify, wish I’d got that; I only got 3w ones. Got TREACLE and TREACLY, also RATIFY and STRATIFY, but not Emulsify. My 3w’s: CLUES STRATIFY YAM, and FLUES SCIMITAR RYE.

  3. Anagrams, sorted by total letters in group:
    CARSES, CRASES, ESCARS*, SCARES†, SERACS†
    LEASER, REALES*, RESALE, RESEAL, SEALER
    LEASERS, RESALES, RESEALS, SEALERS
    LUSTRES, RESULTS, RUSTLES, SUTLERS
    ALERTS, ESTRAL, STALER, TALERS*
    ARTIST, STRAIT, STRATI*, TRAITS
    LASCAR, RASCAL, SACRAL, SCALAR
    CLEARS, SCALER, SCLERA
    ESTRUS, SUREST

    These are found from a program I created which utilizes a numerical method. Once found, I review them for validity, LB vs. PSW, and their definitions. It’s not as intense, computing-wise, as finding the rhyming Quads, but it’s my latest foray. It’s remarkable how many anagrams exist.

    * psw
    † anadromes, a subset of anagrams.

    1. Yes, I’m kind of surprised by the number of anagrams that your posts show, but then again, I suppose it’s to be expected. After all, with a limited amount of letters in our alphabet, and a lexicon that’s ever expanding, we’re bound to produce/encounter more and more of them.

      I’m just grateful we haven’t decided to go alphanumeric with our spelling. I mean, how do you capitalize a ‘3’?

      1. I think you’re right KP, with the expanding lexicon. And for clarity I’m using ‘anagram’ in the strictest sense, where all the letters are used, but just rearranged. Some include smaller words derived from the original, which would lead to even larger result sets. ☕☕

  4. Had to leave it to actually do things IRL. But not before I worried SIMULACRUM every which way—and made do with FEMALES-SIC—CUTLERY
