  1. MEMBRANCE-EMIGRATORY
Two words I wasn’t sure were real but this being LB, I gave them a whirl. I’m learning!

      1. Bernie Horowitz

Another Combinatory Yagé. The latter, purely experimental, had to be looked up: it’s another name for the hallucinogenic Ayahuasca. So, a psychedelic concoction. But I’d say Cyborgs carry the day TI-wise, especially the Cinematic Cyborg.

    *double lettered

    New words: EMIC vs ETIC

  3. My first solution was CENTIGRAM – MOBY, but MOBY isn’t a PSW, so I had to reject it and move on to GENIC – COMBINATORY.

Today’s birds: TIT, NENE, ANI, CRANE, CORMORANT, ROBIN, and, if double letters are allowed, COOT and GANNET.

ANTARCTIC CORMORANT would have been a spectacular find, but the name of this particular cormorant is Antarctic Shag.

    1. As quickly as I could—not having time today to shave off letters, I came up with the clunky METAGENIC–COMBINATORY. Had fun charging through it today, anyway, and would love to find an even less efficient two-worder. Really like the TI of the official, though!

  4. NAGE – EMBRYOTIC 13/2. I tried NAGE on a whim -glad it worked. This one went by fast; I only explored MARGINATE before stumbling across EMBRYOTIC.

    1. LBF score: 4 (got 5 low-value letters correct); scrapping the bottom of the barrel once more. The only way is up (or is it) with
      YNC BDK OPT RUA.

    2. Same solution, NAGE is some kind of broth. GANE is also supposed to be a word meaning “to move along”, but it was not accepted.

  5. Good one/s! My best today was GIBE EMBRYO OCTANE, or EMBRYO ORGANIC COT. GRATINE EMBRYONIC would’ve been 2 words but no ON together, so didn’t work. I was surprised it allowed spelling Gratin with -e ending.

  6. Spent a long time trying to get something to work with CRANIOMETRY. Eventually gave up on that and ended up at GENIC – COMBINATORY
